NW.js v0.23.7 Released
This is a bug fix release as it contains important bug fixes caused by transparency code. Again, this should be the last release of 0.23 branch, as 0.24.0 will be released soon with Node.js 8.2.1. There is a change in the transparency feature: it can use GPU on macOS and Windows, it's only needed to disable the gpu compositing rather than disabling the whole GPU process. The documentation is updated for this change.
Chromium 59 features Headless Chromium, Native notifications on macOS and image capture API. See the upstream announcement for more information.
In this version, we deliever the same thing as upstream headless browser to support the usage in upstream, and we'll continue our plan for this. In the meantime, we're still collecting users requirements. Please join the discussion if you have anything needed beyond the upstream usage scenario.
We've made the 0.23 branch ready soon after Chromium beta bumps to 59. Thanks to the testers for their valuable feedback. We've been working on 3 branches simultaneously: a released branch on current Chromium stable, a beta branch on Chromium beta and a 0.14 branch for legacy OS support.
For more information on the new milestone 0.13 and later versions, please see our blog "What's New in 0.13" for a better introduction.

Binary for other platforms: https://dl.nwjs.io/v0.23.7/
There are 2 builds for each platform - normal build, and SDK build. Normal build doesn't have devtools, only SDK build does. lt can be opened by pressing F12 (Cmd-Alt-I on OSX). SDK packages also have more development tools to be exposed in the following releases, as well as the NaCl support.
Our build infrastructure enables live binary build from git tip so you can access to the latest binary from https://dl.nwjs.io/live-build/
